As the television juggernaut that is Network Ten's MasterChef Australia draws closer towards it's finale this weekend, I've decided to add my voice to the many others that have praised, derided, questioned or lauded the series over the past three months or so.

Truth be told it's more than six weeks since I first decided to document that dinner, and it's taken me until today to sit down and bash it out on the keyboard. 

There will always be space for a light self-saucing lemon scented pudding at the end of every meal.  I just wish I had some lemons in the house right ...
