French toast gets a makeover

Greek-style french toast - lemons, feta and olives

This is a sneak preview of one of the first recipes for the site which, fingers crossed will give anyone cooking for someone who has a swallowing difficulty some inspiration.

Just an egg?

Is it insulting to say "just an egg"?
Do the eggs feel insulted when you underestimate their kitchen credibility and their usefulness?

Chocolate eggs are everywhere at this time of the year, but I took a minute today to think about how versatile their calcium-shelled, yolk-and-white-filled doppelgangers are in the kitchen.
